I really don't want to jump into this, for a variety of reasons (least
of which being that this has nothing to do with HP ending paper
documentation).

However, there are studies that show insulin-dependent diabetes
patients can and do go into remission and can terminate their insulin
injections.  It's very specific cases, so it may not be applicable to
you.  You can search the medical sites for adult diabetes remission.

That's for adult humans.  It is also very well known that certain
other animals that are affected by diabetes can also go into remission
and have normal blood glucose levels without further need for
insulin.  On this one I can speak from experience, as one of my cats
was diagnosed with diabetes and his blood results are now coming back
normal without the daily insulin injections.

think this conversation has strayed so far off topic that it's time to
shut it down.
