It's found in EXE$EXIT, the kernel mode handler of SYS$EXIT.  And, yes,
it's been there for many a year.  One's should aspire to see it seldom
exercised though.  The setting of the PCB$V_NODELET bit is a surefire 
way to dash those aspirations!

Would you like to see 800+ pages of M$ W(ie)RD document containing an 
"SDA> PCS TRACE" of this which, according to the HP support d00dn that
composed it, CLEARLY showed that code I was responsible for was where
it was looping!  :rolleyes:
