Ericom PowerTerm version 5 (IIRC) was part of Pathworks. Possibly a
marketing trick to lure customers.
I've always had issues with Powerterm, modifying terminal attributes
with SET TERM/PAGE and SET TERM/WIDTH also changed the screen size
unfortunately to a size that led to line wrapping, line truncation or
a wrong number of lines. Luckily Reflection offered an alternative, or
DEC's own VT320 emulator.
Today I wouldn't hesitate to use PuTTY, even in a commercial
organization.
