[Info-vax] Expansion Size Limit

I have a shadow set which I've had for 10 years or so.  SHOW DEVICE/FULL 
indiates 

    Logical Volume Size     17755614    Expansion Size Limit           18870272

Why is the latter larger than the former?  This was initialised long 
before DDS, DVE etc existed.
