The expansion limit is defaulted using a formula shown in the Volume
Shadowing manual. WIth "older" ODS-2 units, the size limit for the
BITMAP.SYS file was 256 blocks, so the expansion limit is set by
that. The numbers don't work out exactly, but with a local disk here,
I get an expansion limit of HEX:11A6000 (18505728) for a 9GB disk.
This works out to be 251*4096*18 with the 251 being the allocated size
ofhte bitmap file (actually 252), 4096 being the constant listed in
the manual and 18 being the current cluster size.
