[Info-vax] strange cluster behaviour: 1

The Big Change should be today, but at the moment I still have 2 VAXen 
and 1 ALPHA as boot servers in the cluster as well as an ALPHA satellite 
I have had for years and some new ones which I will hopefully turn into 
boot servers today.  When shutting down a satellite, sometimes a message 
comes which says "configuration change; no longer being served by node 
<VAXnode>".  The strange thing is, of course the ALPHA satellite was 
never served by a VAX node.  Why does it forget its own system disk?
