   I don't know anything about your hardware.  Are the boxes
sealed shut, or can you look inside?

   Looking at my DECW$PRIVATE_SERVER_SETUP.COM suggests that
my old AlpSta 200 4/233 systems used PBXGA (PCI) cards at
1280x1024 before I upgraded, and the PWS (500a[u]) used an
ELSA GLoria Synergy.  I seem to recall some low-end "S3" card
being in there at one time, probably what I replaced with the
ELSA card.
