Dave,

I saw a similar problem from here.

Next time, may I suggest some process of elimination, to wit: use
NSLOOKUP to try to resolve the name, then if the name resolves, use
TELNET to connect to port 80.

In the case I saw, I did not have the time to chase down what it was.
