Anyone know of more current Windows drivers for LK keyboards?
A co-worker found this strange keyboard in the back of the warehouse
where the rats don't like to go. He was going to put it on the scrap
heap, I distracted him with some 8 inch floppies ("How do you use
these? Fold 'em?"), grabbed the keyboard, and scurried off. A
pristine LK461-A2 with the cord still in plastic wrap. Alas, no
documentation or disk.
I found these sites for drivers:
http://www.compaq.com/legacysupport/digital/epid90.html
http://h18000.www1.hp.com/legacysupport/digital/ExtIndex8.html
I downloaded the GGLK4IR2.EXE file, ran the install in NT 4.0
compatibility mode, and installed the four US keyboard drivers.
The US LK450/451 with F18 support driver is working fairly well on
Windows XP SP3 and KEA! 420 4.23 terminal emulator. The US LK411/461
with F18 support driver gets confused and is listed as either Canadian
Multilingual Standard or US Dvorak for right hand in Regional and
Language Options control panel, so I'm leery of using it.
I'm wondering if there are more recent drivers than 1997.
Thanks
