... fixing simh:
Doe you think simh is broken? According to my research, when
you type in set xq eth, and the ethernet adapters i a system
appear - simh has been compiled with ethernet support and
supposed to be working. I installed the precompiled recent
ubuntu build of simh.
@TCPWARE:CNFNET
I changed the hosts IP-address to 192.9.201.135, rebootet
the machine and commented the "set xq mac=" part in the
vms.ini file out - so that the default mac address is set.
After that - I ran the script CNFNET and it asked me what
ethernic type I am using - I typed QNA-0 and set the Internet
Adress to 192.9.201.130 with the netmask of 255.255.255.0.
After a thousand questions and a reboot of the machine, I
there is still the same error message of TCPWare on startup.
best regards
