Last week, I read in several different articles (which probably
indicates the extent to which some journalist copy from
others---including copying the errors) that Deutsche Börse's XETRA
(eXchange for Electronic TRAding) system runs on Red Hat Linux. This is
not true and has never been true. A quick internet search will indicate
that XETRA runs on VMS and always has---be it testimonials at the HP
website, white papers, whatever.
