   You want to mount the a Files-11 ODS-2 image directly on Linux, or 
   on VMS running under SIMH?

   The latter is the normal way I transfer disks to simh.

   The former may be accomplished by existing drivers available for
   Linux, or by a port of Carl J. Lydick's application, which accesses
   the raw drive read-only.
