Been to my office today. Found out that it was an M4315 (in floor
cabinett) that I had. :-)
I also had an MSA1000 (fc) with 14 72Gb 15k drives, but I decided to
go with a simple external SCSI connection, so now my XP900 has all
internal storage either removed or at least powered off and everyting
runs from the external disk cabinett.
It *seems* as there is some kind of temp regulation of the fan speeds,
becuse the speed (and sound) was lowered quite a bit right after power up.
I thought temp regulation arrived with later disk systems.
I have not filled the box, I do not have the need for 14 drives and I did
had spare blank panels for the unused slots anyway.

DKB0/100 are 18Gb 10k drives and all other 72Gb 15k drives.
The XP900 runs a bit cooler without the 3 internal drives running.
All is well at the moment. I might have a XP900 600 Mhz box on the way
to replace the current 466 Mhz box.
Thanks for the input !
Jan-Erik.
