yes, to a certain extent,
this was version 3 (Warp Connect),
after they divorced from M$.
It had smart marketing, PC retailers
had it preloaded, etc.
Nevertheless it failed because
most customers wanted M$ products.
Lesson: if the product doesn't fit
customer demand, no marketing will help.

Yes, both big retailers, Vobis and Escom had it,
even as the primary OS (iirc),
from ca 1994 to 1996.
But I guess the majority of customers merely
used it as a launcher for their usual Windoze apps.

Escom died in 1996 due to that UK store debacle
(among other reasons).

And with Escom went the Amiga's second chance :-(
They had acquired the remains of Commodore in 1995
and were about to resurrect it.
