[Info-vax] decnet task without net$server.log ?

Pierre,

Another thought. Can NET$SERVER.LOG be created in the user's home
directory? Is there a problem (e..g, lack of free contiguous space)
preventing the extension of the directory?

Getting at the details of what is happening will explain the problem.
