It is not clear whether the OP already has one SYSUAF etc on the ALPHA
cluster. If not, then it would be a good idea to change this; it is a
good recommendation independently of moving from one cluster to another.
As for the move itself, I would also recommend a mixed-architecture
cluster and gradually phase out the ALPHA nodes and phase in the Itanium
nodes.
