As a related question: does your XP1000 recognize the
card at the SRM firmware level? I have an XP1000 which
sees, but doesn't recognize the card. The card is recognized
as a DEGXA in a DS10, though. My guess would be that the
XP1000 has an older firmware which doesn't know about
Gigabit cards, but I'm not sure.

BTW: thank you for those floppy images. They are indeed
very helpful.
