Mount Verify gets invoked if a drive goes offline when trying to do I/O
to it. It attempts to bring the disk back online, including alternate
path searches (DU/MSCP), and once it brings a disk online it attempts to
verify it is, in fact, the correct disk. I don't remember how extensive
this is, other than it at minimum looks at the disk label.
Not to be confused with either ANALYZE/DISK (checks filestructure for
errors and optionally repairs them) and SET VOLUME/REBUILD (which cleans
up allocated space etc. from an improper dismount)
