In the log file of one case there were these messages:

Thu May 19 07:22:12 2011, output: network partner disconnected logical
link
Thu May 19 07:22:12 2011, output: network partner disconnected logical

Thu May 19 07:22:12 2011, perp_read_ast IOSB status: device timeout
Thu May 19 07:22:12 2011, output_routine has no IO channel.
Thu May 19 07:22:12 2011, The output buffer that couldn't be sent
follows.
Output Buffer Dump: (Length = 125)
\ D\ C\ D\ A\ D\ A%PSM-E-WRITEERR, error writing "PRINTER_NAME:9100"\ D
