Keith,
congrats! Thats a great uptime! I'm not sure we or a customer
ever made it that long without a powerfail or other mandatory down.

Our customer's standalone VAX system used to be their core
business server, running all custom apps. They've moved most things
to a lesser environment, but still do accounting and payroll since the
systems were so customized to their needs, and nothing 'generic' out
there can really replace it without a lot of changes ($$$$$$) or major
changes to their business processes. So it is still in daily use.

It was upgraded to most recent ECOs for V6.1 a year before the
last reboot, and most recent TCPware that was supported. It is not
internet accessible, and there have been no security issues ever.
Stable, mature, business critical, and still supported by us and a
hardware maintenance vendor.
