   Huh?  There were _always_ licenses.  The License Management
Facility (LMF), with its Product Authorization Key (PAK)
system arrived, as I recall, with VMS V5.0.

   On a real VAXsta 2000, one can add a second RD54.  Who
could ever want more than 300MB?  A Web search for keywords
like, say
      vaxstation 2000 scsi
might find some additional options for a real VAXsta 2000.
What you can do with the emulator is beyond my ken.
