Well done that man.
Wrt diskspace: I assume you're already aware of, and have dismissed,
VMSTAILOR and its DECwindows companion DECW$TAILOR? See e.g.

your favourite search engine.
Anyway, given that there are now (nearly) freely downloadable builds
of SIMH for Android (the ready made ones I've seen come "free" with a
cheap paid-for Telnet), one can now run various DEC things ranging
from PDP11 (e.g. there is a pre-built RT11 V5.3 image) to VMS, maybe
now with graphics, on the phone in your pocket (as you could on your
iPAQ PDA a few years back). If one so desires.
I'm unlikely to have a chance to try it for a while but if anyone else
does and fancies posting some performance indicators it might be
interesting to readers here.
