how much?
A couple of hobbyists and nostalgics is equivalent to "no demand".
Now if the owners of the 411000 systems would have stood up
as one man and demanded "VMS on VAX forever", *that* would have made
a difference.

Perhaps these other platforms are more attractive for
the remaining Fortran users?
