Use one space after a period. Yes, I know -- we were trained in typing
class (or whatever) to use two spaces. But look at actual print in a
book or newspaper or magazine. There's not much space between a period
and the first letter of the next sentence. So why should there be in
"typewritten" text? Use one space. I found it easy to switch. And your
wrapping nightmare will be over!
