I'm but a young pup, I'm not used to using command-line FTP clients.
I've never
had to explicitly set a binary transfer mode in my life, it usually
worked automagically.

First time for everything I suppose :D

If it makes any odds, the binary file I pulled down from digiater.nl
via FTP was
in 512byte block size. I had to repair that to return it to the proper
block size using
the script I linked to but once I did that it worked a charm :)
