[Info-vax] MultiNet Install...

Having a few problems here (again).
I got a Hobbyist license PAK and installed it for MultiNet 5.3 for
VAX. I successfully downloaded, unzipped (took forever even on an
emulator) and installed it using VMSINSTAL.
It didn't go well somewhere, however. Using the default:
$ @SYS$SYSROOT:[MULTINET]START_MULTINET.COM
(in the SYS$MANAGER:SYSTARTUP_VMS.COM file)
It returns an error reporting it didn't work. Understandable as
START_MULTINET.COM is actually at:
DUA0:[MULTINET.VAX_COMMON.MULTINET]START_MULTINET.COM
I assume this is supposed to be defined as some sort of LOGICAL but
I'm not sure what or where.
The documentation for the install is a bit vague. My basic issue is I
can ask it to start using:
@DISK$STAR69:[SYS0.SYSUPD.MULTINET053.MULTINET]START_MULTINET
But it returns:
%SYSTEM-W-NOSUCHFILE, no such file
\MULTINET:MULTINET_CONFIGURE_NETWORK.EXE\
MultiNet startup file out-of-date, upgrading...
%SYSTEM-W-NOSUCHFILE, no such file
\MULTINET:MULTINET_CONFIGURE_NETWORK.EXE\
%DCL-W-ACTIMAGE, error activating image
MULTINET:MULTINET_CONFIGURE_NETWORK
-CLI-E-IMAGEFNF, image file not found STAR69$DUA0:
[SYS0.SYSUPD.MULTINET053.][MULTINET]MULTINET_CONFIGURE_NETWORK.EXE;
%SYSTEM-W-NOSUCHFILE, no such file
\MULTINET:MULTINET_CONFIGURE_NETWORK.EXE\
%SYSGEN-E-FNF, file not found
%SYSGEN-W-OPENIN, error opening SYS$COMMON:[SYSEXE]INETDRIVER.EXE; as
input
%SYSGEN-E-FNF, file not found
I'm pretty sure it's only half installed or I missed a step.
Learning by fire here :)
