Those were the key advantages which persuaded me to move to TPU.
I found the ability to have source and listing displayed in separate
windows a real time saver when you had a bunch of compiler errors to wade
through (one of the delights of COBOL ;-) )
I would do the same with RUNOFF source and output. with a bit of TECO in
between to strip the CR-LF characters). Needless to say I wrote a simple
bit of DCL to automate this.
And TPU really comes into its own when you have a series of similar files
you want apply the same learn sequences to.
