Well, we could have a fun argument about "equivalent" here...
Apple designed for cheap. DEC did not. DEC did things like DMA. Apple
never heard of the concept.
DEC had a general bus. I'm not sure what I'd call the Apple II, but
saying it had a bus is being rather generous...
And we could go on... :-)
