I have looked into the HPSUM files provided by HP, specifically the AH395A
files for Linux.

bp001134.xml has the text
"<contents><package install=yes>CP015844.scexe</package></contents>"
which led me to inspect CP015844.scexe further.

So I unpacked rx2800i2_fw_bndl_lin.tar.gz and looked at CP015844.scexe.
This is a shell script that contains what I think are the firmware
binaries, prepended by some shell scripting to unpack it (like the
old VMSSHAR files). So I unpacked it using

   % mkdir ./fw ; ./CP015844.scexe --unpack=./fw

This gives rx2800_ilorom_01_50_02.bin and rx2800_sysrom_01_80.bin .

I have no idea how to proceed from there; perhaps somebody else has an
idea how to flash these files into the firmware of the rx2800 i2.

cu,
   Martin
