[Info-vax] ZIP and UNZIP maximum file size

Hi,
Just wondering, now that Zip 3.0 and Unzip 6.0 support file sizes
larger than 2GB, do we know what the upper limit is?
Best info I can find seems to be (http://www.info-zip.org/
FAQ.html#limits) …
        uncompressed size of a single file: 4 GB; This is also not a
hard limit …
        compressed size of a single file: 4 GB
But trying it (before finding the above), it has successfully zipped
and unzipped a 40GB backup saveset via an 11GB zip file.  "Unzip -t"
was OK and DIFF confirmed the resultant unzipped saveset had no
differences.
It zipped in 64 minutes and unzipped in 34 minutes, running on …
