Shoudl VMS show signs of growth potential, then its owner could easily
justify expanding the hardware range on which VMS is tested to run.

And if they do the port right, they would make VMS run on any EFI
enabled x86 box, including Macs (assuming drivers exist for the types of
disks/devices on Macs).

Consider also that without FredK around (may he RIP), Ho will have a
hard time reverse engineering any x86 based graphics adaptor, whereas by
moving to x86, t would greatly simplify the job of getting dirvers for
various hardware.
