Absolutely - fired up my old Indy Webforce a few weeks ago and it still
looks pretty good, even if the screen resolution isn't up to date. Still
has Photoshop, Illustrator and other good stuff and manages to have quite
reasonable performance with only 256Mbytes of ram.

All I remember about the early macs was endless floppy swapping to get 
anything
meaningfull done. Really slow and the single tasking and closed 
architecture made
it a none starter. Added to which, they used to crash regularly. Fine 
for artsy
luvvie types who don't like computers, but useless for any serious 
engineering
work. Pc's were far better; more open, flexible, expandable and much 
cheaper...
