   The discussions leading to the merger of Compaq and HP were first
   started by Compaq because Compaq wanted to can Tru64 in favor of HP-UX.
   Thier reasoning was simple:  HP-UX sold and Tru64 didn't.

   HP-UX did not come from a stealth marketing company.
