  ^^^ - Not as crazy as you might think. My first PDP featured CIS - 
Commercial Instruction Set, which was a hardware add-on to do arithmetic 
on decimal strings.  The version of DIBOL which came with our RT-11
(CTS-300 system to be precise) didn't support integer variables as we 
know them; numbers were stored as strings (and a space filed string was 
equivalent to zero in this context).

May I also propose

KPCLP - kill Office Paperclip ?
