Good point about the JavaScript (over)usage, I agree.

The ITRC also had some very annoying JavaScript mechanisms, like for
handling URLs.  Not particularly convenient if you wanted to open
something in a new tab, for example.  (Needless to say, even with
defects like that, the ITRC is naturally to be preferred over the
current EBC forum.)
