Once upon a time, that is before Alpha, web servers running on VAXen
on VMS were compared by those using them.
The one that impressed me was a multi-threadeed server (I don't
recall which anymore). Someone had placed an inappropriate photo
on a website, which had been noticed by many folks who use the 'net
for such entertainment. The site was taking a huge number of hits.
   Nobody noticed the load.
After that kind of results from a VAX, running a website on an Alpha
   seems a no-brainer.
