[Info-vax] Wildcards using MULTINET FTP server, Linux client?

I'm trying to do a rm *.*;* in an FTP script and get this error:

550-Failed to delete directory DKA0:[ARCSIGHT]*^.log^;*.dir;
550 The file specification must contain a name, type and version
number (even if wildcarded).


How do I get rid of those stupid ^'s?
