The VAX 4000-705A is a very fast (approx. 50 VUPS) machine, nearly the
fastest single
VAX processor ever made. The VAX 4000-700 is somewhat slower, possibly
as fast as a
VAXstation 4000-90 or -90A. The latter supports SCSI and is a lot
easier on your electricity
bill. A VAX 4000-x00 is just about the biggest size VAX you'd be able
to put inside your house.
So if you want a real eye catcher in the living room then go for it!
I'd just offer free shipping off the
site though and only if it came with its licenses, VMS, system
integrated products and layered products.
