Well, kind of. If you have a well behaved distribution, as IQ
curves tend to be.
But suppose there are 100 of us, and we all start out with an IQ
of 107. Then JF watches a Britney Spears video, and loses an
entire IQ point because of it. All of us but JF will have above
average IQ's. And he will be 9+ sigma's below us!
Sorry, couldn't resist. On either count: pointing out a statistical
error or mentioning JF in a post.
