[Info-vax] Update to TCP/IP problem with Alpha VMS 8.4

Shame on me again. The OS on the iMac G5 is OS X 10.4.11, the highest
version of "Tiger".

I am doing this posting piecemeal because I only have dialup service
and today the phone lines are really bad. It took 30 minutes just
to get this connection and it is only 45333 bps. Normally I get 50667.
I live in a rural area, the phone company cannot even provide DSL
and there is no cable. When I replace this 7 year old iMac in the next
couple of months I will be going with a wireless 4G setup.
