As others have already mentioned, VUPs were more of a VAX marketing
unit than anything else. Anyway, the following two links may be of

On a related note, I have always found this chart (also from DEC
marketing) to be useful when convincing people that direct comparisons
between VAX and Alpha will be of little value.
