Man, you should smoke less carpet. You are on comp.os.vms here :-)
We are not "psychic" people, we are geeks...

"double check" for a VMS expert (that I used to be since 1982) means
what it means (IVP, local tests, checking for errors in logs etc.)
(need a translation for "IVP" ? :-)

"I cannot" means that "je ne peux pas" (in English "I can not", or
better "I cannot", or more usually "I can't")
Not being able to FTP from one machine/computer/system/box/whatever
non-psychic name you like) means that the file transfert protocol
program (aka FTP) does not transfer anything (means: transfers
nothing, niet, nitchevo, No Way José)

But, as far as "actual output (like, say, error messages)" is
concerned, sorry, I must confess that I forgot them :-(.

Here is the output of the "no FTP result" on the PC side:

[begin screen snapshot]

[end screen snapshot]

and here is below the error message I get from the PC:

[begin error message text]

[end message text]

Buddy, what *else* could I post to be less "psychic" ?

Didier
(you made my day !...)
