[Info-vax] Why would FTP not work from my PC to my PA ?

You could try posting

1) exact details of the commands you invoked, ideally by text cut
+paste (links screenshots on Flickr etc have been used but are less
convenient than text right here :))
2) vague details of what you expected to result from those commands
3) exact details of what actually resulted from those commands,
ideally by text cut+paste

In this particular case in the absence of success by other routes you
could also think about packet capturing the relevant IP traffic at
each end and posting that (or a link to it) but I guess that might not
require the kind of psychic skills you seem to want from the
audience...
