Just on this last point, I *suspect* you are doing a DIRECTORY/SIZE
on the file(s), no? Try instead DIRECTORY/SIZE=ALL . The size
difference you are seeing, if I'm correct, is just the difference
in the disk cluster size on the two system disks, not the used
space in the file. The cluster size is set when the disk is
initialized. (Of course, you could also do a DIFFERENCE and
verify the contents of the two files are identical.)
