Do the IDE drive power connectors not also have the required voltages
(or are we even talking about the same thing, given that classical
SCSI drives used the same Molex power connector as IDE drives)? Thes
Molex SCSI/IDE power connectors surely have +12V and +5V, right? These
might be reasonably easily accessible, but whether these are (or
should be) the same +12 and +5 voltages as may feed the motherboard is
a different question. An ohmmeter (or a circuit diagram) may help
clarify. Not sure a SCSI card is necessary for this set of
circumstances.
