It'll be interesting to see

1) what Oracle will charge
2) how timely any such updates/upgrades/ports will happen
3) what kind of tech support Oracle will offer

Oracle charging two or three times for Itanium products which are 
release years late would not surprise me.  Especially if they performed 
poorly on such systems once released.
