Nope. :-)
I might as well give the answer. It's the DECLL escape sequence, which 
is used to control some lights on the keyboard. The VT100 had four lamps 
marked L1 to L4 on the keyboard, the VT102 reused some of them for other 
purposes, but L1 remained. The feature was removed in the VT200, and 
reappeared in the VT500, where you can use the same escape sequence to 
control the lamps on the keyboard that normally indicate capslock, 
numlock and scroll lock.
