Thanks! Seems like concurrent invention, a lot of the functionality 
(especially updating vector options using older versions) is similar.
As I never worked with C++, I can't judge the benefits of generating
automatic symbols for jacket routines.

The implementation in the compiler looks more elegant. Special declaration
modifiers seem less useful in open source projects.

Hopefully similar functionality is included in the C and other compilers
as well.

It would be nice to have the generated option file automatically
contain both mixed case and uppercase aliases. That's something 
I ran into and included in linkshrlib.com.
