[Info-vax] Alpha vms Tcpip questions

Hello This is badger007 back to being a badger

I am installing alpha vms 8.3 on the charon as400 freeware that is good until dec 31 i might get it going by then. 

I am working on alphavm but having port problems with it and i am tired of problems. 

I really dont understand option 2 on the main menu of the uxc on the alpha .. it makes you post a domain. I dont have a local domain 

It makes you use dhcp and i need a static ip for my router 


the alias option dont really understand how to use that one. 


if someone can explain that to me. I can get "ALPHA1" running ip and then we can get down to business of trying to get dec windows working.
