Is the MS "Threat Management Gateway" one of those NTLMvx proxy
things? If so, there's at least one not entirely transparent Linux
workaround available for making the TMG work with Linux client systems
in the TMG mode where client authentication is required. No
modifications needed to browsers, wget, whatever, but you probably
have to enter your Windows authentication details (once?) for the
Linux end of the proxy. Sadly I can't remember the name of it - it's
not on one of my boxes, but I have seen it working recently.
